My brief work for Paige Hospitality Group in New York City consisted primarily of two things: updating menus and creating promos for upcoming events for their collection of properties. At the time, they operated eight restaurants: The Chester in the Meatpacking District (Manhattan); The Ainsworth in Midtown (Manhattan), Gramercy (Manhattan), Chelsea (Manhattan), Hoboken, New Jersey, and Las Vegas, Nevada; 121 Fulton Street in the Financial District (Manhattan); and Southampton Social Club in The Hamptons (Long Island). They also owned and operated a “speakeasy”-style menswear boutique near Wall Street.
If a chef made a change to that night’s menu, I would make the change, print new copies, and deliver them to the location before service began. I was not the designer of the original menus.
Most of my work consisted of using their branding and assets to create sandwich board designs and social media posts for upcoming events.
